Intermountain Health's Select Health awards $150,000 to 30 organizations addressing community health needs across Idaho, Nevada, and Utah
SALT LAKE CITY, UT (PRUnderground) September 1st, 2026

Select Health -- a wholly owned subsidiary of Intermountain Health -- has awarded $150,000 to 30 community organizations through its annual Select Health Awards program. Across Idaho, Nevada and Utah, healthier communities are taking shape in places people visit everyday including community centers, schools, housing programs, food pantries, and neighborhood organizations. The work happening in these spaces helps people find stability, build connections, and access resources that support their health and well-being.
The 2026 recipients address a wide range of social drivers of health, including food security, housing stability, educational opportunity, preventive health services, support for older adults and individuals with disabilities and programs that aid families and communities. Their work helps individuals and families overcome barriers, improve quality of life and build healthier futures. Each organization received $5,000 to support local efforts that strengthen communities across the Mountain West.
"Health is shaped by many factors beyond medical care. Access to safe housing, nutritious food, education, social support and preventive services all influence a person's health and well-being," said Rob Hitchcock, Select Health president and CEO. "The organizations recognized through this year's Select Health Awards address those needs every day. They are helping people build stronger foundations for health, creating opportunities to thrive and making a lasting difference in their local communities."
