King Law is proud to announce the continuation of its "King Law Gives Back" College Scholarship Program for the 2025 academic year. This program reflects the firm's dedication to investing in local communities and supporting the next generation of professionals.
Established in 2017, the scholarship program has awarded numerous scholarships to outstanding high school seniors across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Each year, King Law offers scholarship funds to area high school seniors who have been accepted to college and plan to further their education. Applicants are required to submit an essay, and recipients are selected based on their college plans, career goals, and creative writing.
For the 2025 academic year, King Law will award three $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors residing in counties where the firm has established offices. Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
Residency: Applicants must live and attend high school in a county where a King Law location is established. A complete list of our North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee locations can be found on our website.
Academic Status: Must be a high school senior.
Educational Plans: Plan to enroll at an accredited post-secondary education institution during the academic year following high school graduation, Fall 2025.
Essay Submission: Submit a written personal essay via our online application on the following topic: "Small towns. Big relationships." Describe what this means to you and why it is a part of who you are.
The application deadline is March 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Interested students can apply through the King Law website.
"We are tremendously excited about being in 'growth mode'—geographically, personnel-wise, practice area, and community investment," said a representative of King Law.
